Welcome

Hi! I’m Marie, founder of Crochet Wellness.

I’m so glad you’re here.
I create joyful, welcoming spaces where women can reconnect with themselves and each other through crochet, creativity, and wellness—one stitch and one breath at a time. Whether you’re picking up a hook for the first time or looking for a deeper sense of community and calm, this is a place to belong.

I’m a teacher, maker, retreat host, and your go-to guide for finding joy, peace, and connection one stitch at a time.

For over 20 years, I’ve balanced life as a mom, wife, educator, and creative spirit. After raising three boys and spending decades in the classroom, I realized that women—especially caretakers and professionals—often put everyone else first. I know what it’s like to crave something just for you… and not know where to begin.

That’s why I created this space. Through crochet, creativity, and wellness, I help women reconnect with themselves and each other in meaningful, energizing ways. Whether it's at a weekend retreat, during a local workshop, or through my digital content, my goal is simple:

To make you feel proud of doing something positive for yourself—
and excited to come back for more.

What I Believe

Community heals and inspires.
Creativity is self-care.
Wellness doesn’t have to be overwhelming—it can be joyful, accessible, and fun.
A little yarn and a lot of heart can go a long way.

Who I Serve

I work with women ages 30–60, many of whom are educators, healthcare workers, HR professionals, or retirees. They’re usually juggling a lot—careers, families, stress—and looking for a space to exhale. They’re curious about wellness, craving community, and need a starting point that feels safe and uplifting.

Why Crochet?

Crochet slows us down. It teaches patience, presence, and creativity. It gives our hands something to do while our hearts open up. And when paired with nourishing food, good conversation, and a cozy setting, it becomes more than a craft — it becomes a connection point.

Come Join Me

Whether you're attending a retreat, taking a class, or following along online, I invite you to show up exactly as you are. You don’t need to be “good at wellness” or “artsy” — you just need to be open. Open to trying something new. Open to feeling proud of yourself. And open to connecting—with others, and with your own well-being.

You deserve that.

I hold a Master’s degree in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Mindfulness, and Yoga, with an emphasis in Transformative Leadership and Wellness. These practices shape every retreat, workshop, and post I create — blending heart, science, and soul into everything I offer. My training allows me to support holistic growth for both individuals and communities, with care and integrity.
